What Do We Know? Exploring Non-Western Approaches to Wisdom

Around the world, people understand life and each other in vastly different ways. In this conversation, Host Susan Grelock Yusem talks with Nigerian-born Okhiogbe Omonblanks Omonhinmin about his life and work as an “ambassador of entanglement.” This conversation is part of our series called What Do We Know? exploring non-western approaches to wisdom such as interconnection, collective well-being, intuition, artistic expression, empathy, and the wisdom of dreams. Okhiogbe Omonblanks Omonhinmin, born in Benin City, Nigeria, is an interdisciplinary being or  “ambassador of entanglement” who, like water, takes on the form or position needed to actualise projects. As his Life-Practice is centered on participatory and social-practice, Omonblanks sees the body as a memory collector and everything he does takes on a life of its own. Currently reflecting on what it means to see life from a place of self observation, being in the moment and living through time and space. theartconcept.org
