Alnoor Ladha

Alnoor’s work focuses on the intersection of political organizing, systems thinking, mystical practices and narrative work. He comes from a Sufi spiritual lineage and works in Ayurvedic, Taoist and Amazonian shamanic traditions. In 2012, he left his partnership at a successful political consultancy in New York to become the co-founder and Executive Director of The Rules (TR), a global network of activists, organizers, designers, coders, researchers, writers and others focused on changing the rules that create inequality, poverty and climate change. The focus of TR has been to create a new methodology and community-of-practice around “culture hacking” – shifting narratives through overturning cultural ideals at the core of our civilizational crisis. Alnoor is also a co-founder of Tierra Valiente (Brave Earth), a post-capitalist community and healing center in the northwestern jungle of Costa Rica.
