She is co-founder and director of training at PYE: Partners for Youth Empowerment, and co-founder of Power of Hope and Young Women Empowered — arts/empowerment programs for youth in the Greater Seattle area. Her new book, written with PYE co-founder Charlie Murphy, Catch the Fire: An Art-Full Guide to Unleashing the Creative Power of Youth, Adults, and Communities is available on her website.
